Online therapy with a psychologist, wherever you are
The same therapy, in English or Spanish.
60-minute video sessions with a qualified psychologist (licence M-41370, Madrid) with a PhD in Neuroscience. No travel, no waiting room, and the same confidentiality as in person.
Individual 60-minute session: £80 · €60 · $100, depending on where you live.
I moved abroad too. I know how heavy it can feel to do therapy in a language that isn’t your own.
From first message to first session
No apps to install, no awkward platforms. A link, a browser and a quiet hour.
You get in touch
Through the form, by email or on WhatsApp. I reply personally within 24 working hours.A 15-minute call
Free, by phone or video. You tell me what’s going on, I tell you whether I can help and what it would cost. You decide. You get the link
An encrypted video call. It opens in your browser, with nothing to install.A 60-minute session
Just like in person. Never recorded. Paid by bank transfer before each session. All you need
A room nobody will walk into
This matters most of all. If there isn’t one at home, a parked car works; more people do it than you’d think.Headphones
They improve both sound and privacy. The ones that came with your phone are fine.An ordinary connection
You don’t need superfast broadband. If it drops, I’ll phone you and we carry on: you don’t lose the session.Ten minutes’ breathing space
Don’t book the session back-to-back with a meeting. Going straight from therapy into a Teams call doesn’t work well.Does it work as well as in person?
The research so far finds no significant difference in effectiveness between online and in-person therapy for most psychological problems, including anxiety and depression, with high levels of satisfaction and engagement. What shapes the outcome is the therapeutic relationship and the quality of the techniques, not the medium.
How much online therapy costs
Online sessions cost less than in-person ones, because they cost me less to run. Your fee is in the currency of the country where you live, and it’s published here: no small print, no surprises.
Common questions
I don’t live in the UK. Can I still have therapy with you?
Yes. I work with people in the UK, Spain, other EU countries and the US, in English or Spanish. We just need to fit around the time difference, which is usually easier than it sounds. If you’re a Spanish speaker in London, I also have a dedicated page in Spanish.
How do I pay from another country?
By bank transfer before each session, in the currency of your fee: pounds if you live in the UK, euros if you live in Spain or the eurozone, and dollars if you live in the US. For euro clients, a SEPA transfer within the eurozone carries no extra cost; for anything else, we’ll sort out the details on the call.
Why isn’t the fee the same in every country?
Because each market has its own price level and its own costs. I work with a published fee for each zone: pounds in the UK, euros in Spain and the eurozone, and dollars in the US. They’re fixed prices, not conversions, so what you pay doesn’t move with the exchange rate. Everyone within the same zone pays the same.
I don’t have a private space at home. What can I do?
It’s the most common practical obstacle, and it can be solved: a parked car works surprisingly well, as does a meeting room booked at work, or a walk with headphones if the session allows it. Let me know and we’ll sort it out before we start.
What if the connection drops?
I’ll phone you and we’ll carry on that way. You don’t lose the session and you’re not charged twice. It rarely happens, and when it does it isn’t a problem.
